JOB DESCRIPTION

We need a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reporting to the President and responsible for steering the growth of the organization across Canada. With your experience and talents, you’ll be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. Our ideal candidate has the business acumen, experience and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of running a company. We have our eye out for a CEO with solid leadership skills and the ability to approach business from a creative perspective.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

• Reporting to the President and responsible for setting and driving organizational vision, growth strategy, and hiring needs
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
• Oversee corporate strategy, planning & execution to ensure Canada-wide expansion through the franchise model and consolidate Yogi’s Kitchen’s leadership position in this sector across Canada
• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
• Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the President
• Responsible to steer the organization into the next level of growth with Canada-wide presence through the franchise model
• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
• Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
• Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and business associates
• Represent the organization in negotiations or other platforms such as industry meetings, chamber functions etc
