Cleaning Supervisor

JOB DETAILS
Salary: $25.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies: 12 vacancies

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required as long as with work experience. But preferably with some secondary (high) school.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of similar or related occupation

Work site environment: Wet/damp, Noisy, Odours, Dusty, Outdoors

Work setting: Office building, Cleaning service company, Commercial facility

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
• Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services
• Assist cleaners in performing duties
• Establish work schedules

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Workers Supervised: Light duty cleaners, Specialized cleaners

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
