Job Description:
– Position: Graphic Designer
– Employer: West Coast Illustration Inc.
– Work Location: Unit 300 – 34077 Gladys Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S 2E8
– Business Address: Same as above
– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $37.00 – $44.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.
Extended health benefits and dental insurance will be provided after 3 months of probation period.

Job Duties:
– Consult and communicate with clients about layout and design.
– Plan concept to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
– Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations using computer software programs.
– Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered using traditional tools.
– Prepare rough drafts and layouts using multimedia and design software.
– Estimate the cost of materials and time to complete the graphic design.
– Amend final designs to the manager and gain full approval.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of high school is required.
– Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a graphic designer is required.
