Job Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and companionship to an elderly family member
• Assist with daily activities including mobility support, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals, including special diets, and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting with medication, and collecting specimens under the supervision of a nurse or home care agency
• Carry out light housekeeping tasks including laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Related work experience is an asset
• Valid First Aid certification is required
• Fluency in Mandarin is an asset
• Completion of home support or elderly care training programs is an asset

Security and Safety Requirements:
• Medical examination
• References required

Transportation and Travel:
• Must be willing to travel
• Accessible by public transportation
• Employer will cover transportation expenses

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Ability to assist with weight handling up to 63 kg (140 lbs)
