Veritext Litigation Solutions Canada, Inc. (Reportex Agencies merged with Veritext), is a boutique court reporting firm, based in Vancouver, BC, and has been providing reporting and transcription services in Vancouver, British Columbia, since 1983.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full time permanent position based out of our offices located in Vancouver, BC. The Finance Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Director of Finance and the Finance Coordinator and will assist with their finance requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative finance support in the office, including reviewing all contractor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval for payment; assist with preparing, processing and maintaining account documentation to be reconciled; verifying and processing employee expense reports; maintaining Solaria and Vision invoice codes and related pricing amounts as required; problem solve administrative issues for clients; assist with general administration tasks including tracking, posting; maintaining Veritext accounting inbox and maintaining files and documentation in accordance with company policies; performing other duties applicable to the role as assigned by the Director.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a post-secondary diploma or certificate in office administration or related discipline. A minimum of 3-5 years clerical experience in a similar office setting is preferred. Previous experience working with QuickBooks, Solaria and Vision accounting software is critical. Detail-oriented and highly organized (with the proven ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks). Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Open, accountable, communicative, patient, flexible and adaptable.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The position pays $25.79 per hour, based on a 40 hour work week. Benefits include two weeks’ vacation per year as well as Extended Health & Dental Benefits.
