Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop is looking for four (4) Full-Time Barbers (NOC 63210)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, minimum $15.20/hour (up to $21.50 per hour), with a pay scale that increases as your productivity increases.
Job Description:
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
• Shave and trim beards and moustaches
• May shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and may also provide scalp conditioning massages
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Book appointments and order supplies
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience
• CANS (Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia) barber licence is required
• Language in the workplace is English
