Terrabyte IT Consulting Ltd. located at 2825 Clearbrook Road suite # 210 Abbotsford, British Columbia V2T 6S3 Is looking to hire a Software Developer. The candidate is required to have relevant degree/diploma/certificate. Along with relevant education, candidate is required to have relevant experience in software development for at least 2 years. This is a full-time position for 30-40 hours a week. Terrabyte IT Consulting Ltd. is offering industry competitive wage of $47.00 to the suitable candidate.

Some of the basic duties are mentioned below but not limited to :
• Analyze, modify, write, test, implement & integrate software code related to the creation or maintenance of software applications and services
• Create or maintain required software documentation, software design analysis and implementation
• Analyze code and application execution for optimization and performance tuning
• Identify bugs in softwares or applications & communicate technical problems to the manager, refactoring, Code Optimization, and creating test cases
• Working with technologies such as NodeJS, MongoDB, RDBMS, and NoSQL to develop in-house software
• Working in an agile environment using tools like Jira
• Work in a team and ensure that software or application roll-out deadlines are met as per the agreed upon schedule
• Provide input for the development and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation
• Prepare meaningful reports pertaining to software & application development progress & stages
• Take active part in the preparation of manuals & other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software & applications
• Assist with the development, integration, operation and the continuous improvement of the information systems
• Work closely with the users, consultant specialists, and C-suite executives to integrate the latest information technologies with the traditional construction business practices, i.e. Building Information Modeling (BIM), specifically geared for the General Contractors and Project Managers
• Collaborate & work with other engineers & developers in a team and work on development of logical & physical specifications
• Collaborate with other engineers & developers to provide the best solution possible that conforms to best industry practices, including writing of code reviews
• Work through the entire agile development and operations process under the BizDevOps environment.
