Subcity Donair is looking for three (3) Full-Time Food Service Supervisors (NOC 62020)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $19.00 to $20.00/hour (negotiable), with benefits.
Job Description:
• Take customer orders, serve and package food orders.
• Prepare food orders and ensure that food quality and service meet our company standards.
• Train staff to handle cash and point of sale, including cash out procedures.
• Ensure restaurant and washroom facilities are always up to standard by making sure regular checks and cleanings are performed throughout your shift.
• Maintain records on stock to ensure orders are placed accordingly to satisfy ongoing needs.
• Check and refill dispensers for drinks and condiments as required.
• Instruct and train food counter attendants to ensure they have a clear understanding of required duties during their shifts.
• Assist staff members when required and encourage a positive workplace.
• Train staff on restaurant operations, policies and procedures.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Follow up and report to Restaurant Manager as required to ensure our restaurant is running efficiently and maintaining a positive reputation.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Clean tables and food counter areas as required.
• Ensure inside and outside garbage is taken out when required.
• Open and/or close restaurant when required.
• Be a positive role model for junior staff members and encourage a positive working environment at all times.
• Be willing to step up and perform all duties that food counter attendants perform during peak hours and busy times.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry
• Must be able to report to any of our three locations as scheduled
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
