Job Description:
– Position: Carpenter
– Employer: Sky Form Construction Ltd.

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $30.00 per hour
– Working Hours: 40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements;
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools;
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems;
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware;
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures.

Job Requirements:
• Education: Completion of high school is required.
• Experience: Over 2-3 years of related experience OR completion of a three to four year apprenticeship program is preferred.
