We are looking for a full-time Home Support Worker (in private household) to take care of senior in Surrey, BC.

Description:

•Position: 1
•Wage: $23 per hour
•Work Hours: 30 hours/week, Full-time
•Work Location: Surrey, BC V3W 1A6

Qualifications: 
•Minimum Secondary School Diploma
•Able to speak, read and understand English fluently
•Nice, patient with Senior
•Some knowledge or experience of taking care of patient is an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
•Offer support and companionship for senior;
•Provide hands-on care and assistance to seniors, including helping with walking, bathing, hygiene, and getting dressed;
•Arrange and cook meals according to specific dietary needs, and assist with feeding if necessary;
•May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse;
•Possibly handle regular household chores such as laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making.
