Job Description
West Coast Home and Truss Ltd. (Corporate office address: 10230 – 120 Street, Surrey BC, V3V 4G1) required 1 Permanent and Full Time(40 hours a week) Class One Long Haul Truck Driver.
Company Driver Pay Scales:
Company Driver Base Pay (CLASS 1) $25.20- $30.00/Hr

Company Driver Requirements:
Class 1 License W/Air break Endorsement is required. Completion of secondary school is an asset but not mandatory.
Language:
Functional English/CLB Level 4 (Canadian Language Bench Mark Level 4 is required as per ICBC requirement)
Duties:
• Driving the vehicle is the main responsibility of the truck driver. • Driver must maintain a logbook of their driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the rest and work periods for operators. • Driver must keep a record of vehicle inspections and make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment, such as hazardous material placards. • Driver may have to plan their route according to a delivery schedule.
Selected Driver is required to drive throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and some parts of Washington USA.
