Sandrine French Pastry & Chocolate is looking for a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $18.27/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Ensure quality and consistency on all chocolate production, pastries, and baked goods
• Complete weekly inventory of items (and let management know when items are needed to be ordered)
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Work with management on production schedules to meet the demands of the business
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Ensure that all products are made in a timely manner and to the highest standards
• Maintain high standards or cleanliness and organization in the workplace
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
• Conduct regular quality checks on all products
• Train and supervise junior staff members.
• Review production schedule with management on a weekly basis
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Language in the workplace is English
