RealHomes Management Corporation is seeking a hardworking Building caretaker (73201) for their business operations in Victoria, BC. We are looking for a long-term and full-time employee.

Duties:

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
• Perform minor repairs on appliances
• Perform safety and security checks
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Work conditions:

• Wage: $ 24/hour
• Full-time, permanent job offer
• Working location: Victoria, BC
• 37.5 hours per week
• Overtimes are paid at 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 37.5
• 4% vacation pay
