Phoenix Logistics Solutions Inc specializes in providing freight shipping solutions whenever and wherever our customers need them. As an independent Landstar agency, we have access to one of the largest logistics networks in the industry, which means our customers’ businesses has access to this vast network too.

Currently we are looking for a logistics coordinator.

As a Logistics Coordinator you will perform the duties as follows:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate logistics activities such as, order picking, transportation management systems, shipping receiving, sourcing, and warehouse distribution.
• Ensure accuracy on shipments and minimize risk of delay
• Facilitate the movement of goods based on customer demands
• Collect, audit and accurately enter carrier qualification information
• Verify the accuracy of all freight documentation and booking information prior to shipment execution,
• Manage documentation to meet customer and insurance requirements, adhering to international regulations and fiscal policies.
• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain robust business relationships with clients and carriers.
• Advise clients on transportation and payment methods, including the issuance of freight bills and invoices to brokers and/or customer. Including proper record retention and filing of documentation
• Handle all client and partner communications promptly and professionally.
• Resolve operational issues and customer complaints, implementing measures to reduce recurrence.
• Reconcile/balance customer accounts and ledgers by collection and analyzing account information
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
• Perform other duties as may be necessary to support the logistics team.

Terms and conditions:

Type of employment: full-time, permanent
Work hours: 35 hours / week
Wage: $26.50 / hour ($48,230 / year)
Annual vacation: 2 weeks

Required languages: English

Education level: College Diploma (Degree), or equivalent experience

Required skills: - 3+ years of previous experience and comprehensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is preferred - Familiarity in logistics software and systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced expertise in Excel, including building and troubleshooting complex formulas. - Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Experience with forecasting and cost modelling is highly desirable. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation. - A self-starter who takes a proactive approach to problem-solving rather than a reactive one. - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments within the company. - Well-organized and capable of working independently, while being flexible and comfortable in a dynamic work environment. - Competent in handling customer inquiries related to operational and logistics matters. - Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills. - Practical understanding of operational constraints, including time and resources, and the ability to act accordingly.
