Munro’s Sorrento Prescriptions is independently owned and operated and has been proudly serving the Sorrento community and Shuswap area for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide our clients with all their medication and essential home needs including blister packaging, medical supplies, cosmetics, pet supplies, giftware, toys, flowers and plants and so much more.

Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. We have great working hours including reduced hours on Sunday’s and Statutory Holidays. We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

We are in search of a full-time Pharmacy Assistant.

We will provide all necessary on the job training.

Job description:
At Munro’s Sorrento Prescriptions our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs. We are innovative problem solvers that focus on finding a suitable solution for every one of our patients.

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy.

Required languages: English

Education level: High School

Required skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional customer service skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task. Basic computer skills. Problem solving skills. Previous Pharmacy experience is an asset.
