Job Description

Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that the guest rooms, public areas are kept clean and orderly. Additionally, the Housekeeping Supervisor provides support and guidance to the housekeeping team. Work in cooperation with the management and other associates.

Required languages: English

Education level: Completion of Secondary School; A college diploma or university degree would be a plus

Required skills: 1. Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeper(s) or specialized cleaners and janitors 2. Inspect site facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met 3. Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment 4. Assist in training new hires. Ensure clean and orderly environment for customers. 5. Carrying out duties in a positive and professional manner within a multidisciplinary team. 6. Assist to prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments 7. May perform certain cleaning duties. 8. Ability to multitask.

Additional skills / Assets: 1. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends 2. Prior experience in hospitality or residential cleaning is preferred – 3. Experience in a fast-paced service environment 4. Excellent communication and reading skills 5. Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills. 6. Detail oriented, reliable & trustworthy 7. Able to safely lift upwards of 50lbs
