Job Description

Must have at least 2 years experience taking care of children between the ages of 1 and 4.
Must have experience working with a person with a cognitive disability and epilepsy
Education : minimum high school experience. Must have training in seizure management, allergy and First Aid and CPR
Must have experience cooking particularly Filipino dishes
Must be willing to live at our place
Must have a class 5 driver’s license to drive kids to and from school
Must be able to assist in homework with children and good understanding of Montessori Theory of teaching
Must be able to preform light cleaning, laundry, and ironing
Must be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Must be able to lift weight up to 23 kg (50lbs)
Tend to the wellbeing of children; supervise and care for children, change diapers for toddler, assist in bringing child to bathroom; prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks; organize, activities games that stimulate a good learning experience. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in home; instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; discipline children according to the methods instructed and agreed upon with parents; Bathe, dress and feed children; prepare children for rest periods
Must have Security and Safety child abuse check; child welfare check; criminal record check

Required languages: English

Education level: minimum high school

Experienced with children aged: 1 and 4 years old

Required skills: cook, clean and take care of children (1 year and 4 years old)
