Title of Position: 1 Pharmacy Technician

Job Duties:
• Assist pharmacists to maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
• Processing medication orders verified by a pharmacist
• Preparing, processing, and compounding medications
• Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
• Utilizing the latest automation technology in the medication distribution system
• Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate
• Enter client information in databases
• Bill third party insurers
• Other related duties as directed

Wages: $18.00/hr. for 40 hrs./week
Location of work: Surrey, BC

Job Requirements:
• Completion of High School is required
• Completion of college program in pharmaceutics
• Experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently
• Good time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Strong manual dexterity skills
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Excellent communication skills
