Job Description: Child caregiver-private home
Care for 4 children in employer’s home

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.

Job Duties: Supervise and care for children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children; Bathe, dress and feed infants and children; Prepare infants and children for rest periods; Organize activities such as games and outings for children; Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; Read to children; Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant; Accompany children to medical and/or dental appointments; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Specific Skills: Reading text; Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $15.00 per hour for 30 hours a week

Education required: Completion of high school or equivalent

Work experience: Experience an asset.
