Established in 2013, JUSNOVA Agriculture Ltd. is a premier supplier of Canadian wild blueberry products based in Nova Scotia, Canada. We manage and harvest from our own 120 acres farm and produce several premium products based on wild blueberries such as premium juices, dried berries, honey, on-the-go smoothies, wines, and ciders. Our products are made with wholesome, natural ingredients that highlight the delicious flavour and abundance of nutrients such as antioxidants and anthocyanin. Our products come in many different packaging options and materials to suit different consumer needs.

Now, we are looking for a full-time product manager – marketing to join us, who will leverage his or her expertise and acute insights on detecting and exploring more advantages of our products, develop and implement targeted marketing strategies, and finally support us in obtaining more market share in both domestic and international marketplaces, especially in Asia.

Job Descriptions:
1. Develop a deep understanding of the production and processing of our wild blueberries and derivative products, assess and evaluate the product’s characteristics, and explore the selling points and advantages of our products.
2. Conduct preliminary market research on wild blueberries and related industries in the international market, including price, origins, distribution network, major consumption market, etc.
3. Design, modify, and implement general product marketing strategies, combining research results with the company’s business development plans and established sales targets.
4. Analyze the designated KPI and the overall marketing metrics, set up a marketing calendar, assemble relevant staff and execute specific promotions and campaigns for each stage.
5. Calculate and prepare annual marketing budgets, make reasonable allocations for the approved funds and keep records of expenditures.
6. Manage post-campaign analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign by comprehensively comparing the sales performance of flagship products before and after the activity.
7. Oversee the preparation of promotional materials, including presentations, product specifications, company brochures, speeches, press newsletters, etc.
8. Design and deliver public opinion and attitude surveys via online and offline platforms, gather customer reviews and complaints about the product, and feed them back to the company’s production and research department.
9. Act as the liaison and coordinator of publicity events, including industry meetings, trade shows, government workshops, and media events.
10. Focus on the international market dynamics, especially trade policy changes of countries of major markets, and identify valuable information and available resources and report it to management, trying to explore potential business opportunities and reduce risks.
11. Organize cross-departmental cooperation to prepare significant business negotiations and facilitate signing large orders.
12. May assist in building the company’s local office when exploring the overseas market and establishing distribution channels.

Required languages: English

Education level: Bachelor degree in business administration and marketing or a discipline related to agriculture, biology or medicine.

Required skills: At least three years of experience in similar roles; experience in agriculture, food, or medicine industries is preferred; Proven track records of driving excellence in product marketing with a solid understanding of each stage in the product life cycle; Strong leadership to organize a high-performing team and excellent time management skills to meet tight deadline.

Additional skills / Assets: Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred; Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
