In-Home Caregiver for 1 child (Infant)

In-Home caregiver in Private Household F/T required with at least 1 year of experience;

** Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment. **

Job duties:
• Supervise and care for infant
• Oversee infant’s daily routine, such as feeds and nap periods, as instructed
• Sterilize feeding bottles, prepare formula, keep record of daily activities of infant
• Maintain personal hygiene of infant including bathing, changing diapers
• Perform the activities for physical and social development of infant including reading, singing, finger play, tummy time etc.
• Accompany parents for the routine medical appointments of the infant
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for family and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts and outings
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks, Overtime required, physically demanding

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Knowledge of English is required.
Previous experience in similar position or completion of a training program is required.

Salary: $15/hr.
