Job Description

One full-time vacancy. Work Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 4:30 PM for 40 hours/wk. Duties include assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, preparing and serving nutritious meals, administering medications, accompanying the recipient of care to medical appointments. Tasks also include light housekeeping and laundering household linens. The successful candidate will exhibit patients in the provision of companionship and personal care. This is a live-out position. Non-smoking and scent sensitive working environment.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Required skills: Two to less than 3 years of experience is desirable. Physical capabilities include: bending, crouching, and kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Handles weight of 61-80kgs (133 - 176 lbs)

Additional skills / Assets: Immunization, criminal and vulnerable sector checks all required. Must be punctual, dependable, possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, be flexible, and show initiative. Must possess good judgement, be organized and reliable. Must have a client focus.
