Job details
Salary: $23.00/hr for 30 – 40 Hours / Week

Tasks
• To plan, organize and implement child-care programs related to overall development of children;
• Lead children in activities (art, music, physical activity, culture etc.) to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth;
• Maintain a friendly environment ensuring health, security, and well-being of children;
• Assess the abilities, skills, interests, and needs of children and prepare reports;
• Discuss progress reports with parents/guardians and other staff members;
• Promote each child’s individuality and self-esteem;
• Help children develop good eating, toileting, and dressing habits;
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children;
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required;
