Franchise Management Inc. (FMI) is one of the largest Franchise Operators in North America, owning and operating several stores of Panera Bread among other fast-food stores such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Burger King across different provinces and states.

FMI Atlantic Inc. has embarked on a major expansion for their Panera Bread restaurant in Ontario. The business address is 417, Connell Street Woodstock New Brunswick E7M 5G5. We are currently hiring a Shift Manager at our Panera Bread store at Markham in Ontario.

Employment requirements
• Secondary School
• 1 year of supervisory work experience in food preparation or service is required
OR Any other relevant equivalent qualification
• Language: English
• Available to work on flexible shifts, nights and week-ends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organization skills and ability to multitask

Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise, plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of cooks, food counter attendants and other team members;
• Establish work schedules and procedures;
• Evaluate and order food ingredients and supplies needed to prepare meals;
• Prepare summaries of meals orders for cooks in accordance with company standards;
• Keep records of inventory, sales, losses and ensure that the level of inventory of supplies and ingredients are maintained by ordering when required;
• Always ensure that the food and services provided to the restaurant comply with quality control standards;
• Provide training to team members with their tasks and responsibilities, sanitation and safety procedures, and motivate them during routine interactions;
• Assist team members in working with customers.

Wage
$16.92 per hour
