Ferrara’s Italian Market is looking for one Full-Time Deli Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $18.00/hour, plus tips.
Job Description:
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Assist in food preparation, if needed
• Open and close store, sign for deliveries
• May plan deli menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of high school
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food industry
• Language in the workplace is English
