Job Description:
– Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
– Employer: Elderberries Child Care Centre Ltd.

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $20.00 per hour
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
– Assist Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
– Assist Early Childhood Educators in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
– Perform housekeeping duties such stock snacks, tissues, and napkins
– Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
– Report to Early Childhood Educator written observation on children’s behaviour.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
– Experience: Experience an asset. No formal experience is required as on job training will be provided. But Early Childhood Educator Assistant License or several years of experience in child care is required.
