Job Description

Academie de la Capitale is looking for English/French and FSL Teacher’s Assistant, preferably with IB PYP training and/or international teaching
experience, but not necessary.

Required languages: English and French

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-University certificate or diploma from a one or two year program

Required skills: Experience teaching children. Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to differentiate assignments and environments for enhanced student learning Ability to motivate students to strive for excellence Ability to integrate relevant technologies into class activities Ability to collaborate and cooperate with other teachers and specialists Ability to pivot in a dynamic and diverse environment Maintenance of accurate and effective records Contribution to a professionally positive image of the organization

Additional skills / Assets: OCT or completion of a teacher education program. Experience is an asset. 2-3 years of teaching experience is an asset . IB World School teaching experience is an asset . DELF training certification. Participation in continued professional development Valid vulnerable sector check Valid first aid and CPR certificate Legal working status in Canada
