Job requirements:

Education: completion of high school

Language: English

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience

Transportation: public transit is available, travel expenses paid by the employer

Security and safety: criminal records check, medical exam, child abuse registry check, reference required

Personal suitability: organized, initiative, flexibility, reliability, good in communication

Specific skills: supervise and care for children, help in personal care like bathing, dressing, grooming and all aspects of personal care, drop and pick up to and from school and activities, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, assume full responsibility of the household in absence of the parents, keep records of children’s daily activities and health information, plan and prepare meals and serve, pack lunches and snacks for school, do children’s laundry, keep their room neat and clean, play with them indoor and outdoors, reading stories.

Work settings: employer’s home, optional accommodation is available free of charge on a live in basis but note this is not a condition of the employment.
