Hours: 30 hours per Week (Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening), Permanent employment, Full time

Duties & Suitability
Construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components of structures made of wood. Precisely measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, framing lumber and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install trim such as stairs, moulding and hardware. Maintain, repair and renovate homes and other commercial establishments. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Operate power or manual tools. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools. Build stairs, doors, windows and other structures of wood in buildings. Prepare cost estimates for clients. Study project specifications (blueprints, sketches, plans etc.). Understand, plan and implement the requirements including any and all special notes & symbols. Lift and carry heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood, tools and other building materials. This job is physically demanding must be able to Bend, Crouch, Kneel, Sit, Stand & Walk. Must be able to handle a large workload & meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate is accurate in their work, shows good judgement, has efficient interpersonal skills, has excellent oral communication, is reliable, is punctual and is a team player.
