Our specialties include homemade pizza, premium steaks, rotisserie BBQ chicken and ribs, freshly prepared buffets, and homemade desserts.
Job Description:
As we continue our legacy of excellence, we are looking for a Chef to take over from our retiring chef and continue delivering the high-quality dining experience our guests have come to love.
• Take over kitchen operations from the retiring chef, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with Le Chardo’s menu and standards.
• Develop and refine menus while maintaining our tradition of fresh, homemade dishes.
• Oversee food preparation, kitchen organization, and service efficiency.
• Control, direct and prepare dishes in coordination with other kitchen staff.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and maintain kitchen supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to provide an exceptional dining experience.
• Adapt to special requests, dietary needs, and event-specific menus.
• Work in coordination with owner to develop business strategies.
• Standardize recipes to ensure consistent quality.
• Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Arrange for repairs when necessary.
• Remedy any problems or defects.
Employment Requirement:
• Personality, passion, and work ethic, a person who shares our beliefs and vision.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• 2-3 years of work experience as a Chef
• Completion of secondary school
• Trade certification or vocational training
• Significant experience cooking and developing vegan, vegetarian, healthy meat recipes.
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
• Menu development experience.
• Work permit if from overseas.
