Position: Floor Covering Installer

Wage: $26.86 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Number of Positions: 15
Benefit : 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Prepare floors for installations ; measure and cut underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install various types of floor martial (such as hardwood, laminate floor, vinyl tile and etc.) on floors
• Be able to measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings using different tools
• Be able to inspect and fix damaged floor covering
• Be able to handle different types of device such as machine stitcher, seaming iron, bonding tape or other bonding materials, in order to install carpet on the floor

Job requirements:
• Completion of high school is required
• Completion of a 2-3 year apprenticeship program OR a minimum of 3 years of work experi-ence in a relevant field is required
