Job Description

Job duties:

1. Remove and install Surface Mount components from new or rebuilt PCB.
2. Remove and install through hole components.
3. Provide feedback to Engineering Team regarding issues during product assembly.
4. Communicating with the Engineering Design team ways to improve prototype and PPR samples to reduce final production time.
5. Manually place and solder components such as resistors, diodes, transistors, capacitors and integrated circuits.
6. Work from specified drawings to place components on circuit boards by hand soldering.
7. Perform requested mechanical processes (cutting, drilling, installing eyelets, etc.).
8. Assemble prototypes, engineering samples and final products.
9. Read and interpret diagrams to ensure proper placement of components on PCB.
10. Solder and removing components on circuit boards.
11. Assist with packaging and shipment of finished products.

Job requirement:
– High School Diploma is required
– Experience as asset

Employment Type: Full-time; Permanent

Wage: 19.00 per hour (x1.5 for overtime)

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Benefit: 4% vacation pay
