Job Description

Blue Hawks Transport LTD. is in search of ten full-time permanent Long Haul Truck Driver @ $28.00 per hour, for 50 hours per week.

Required Skills:
Operate and drive tractor-trailer or straight-body trucks.
Transport goods and materials at various locations.
Ensure good condition of equipment and safety and security of cargo.
May make adjustment to routes if unexpected closures or conditions arise.
Perform emergency road-side repairs, if required.
Use GPS and other navigation equipment.
Perform pre trip, en route and post trip inspection.
Monitor and assist in loading and unloading of goods.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information.
Abide truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Communicate with dispatchers, other staff and customers using appropriate devices.
Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventive maintenance.
May work as part of two-person team.
Obtain all permits required to travel internationally.
