Job Duties:
• Provide direct staff support for individuals with developmental disabilities, including people with complex and/or challenging behavior or support needs.
• Establish respectful relationships with individuals which promote their dignity and well-being.
• Support individuals to achieve goals based on their own choice, beliefs, and desires.
• Encourage individuals to build connections; to live self-determined lives in the community surrounded by friends and family.

Job Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in a related field OR at least one to two years of working experience in a similar environment with completion of high school.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
• Valid BC Driver’s License
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
• Reliable problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
