Aquila Frames Ltd. located at 69 – 19097 64 Ave, Surrey BC V3S 6X5 is hiring Steel Stud Framers – carpentry for full-time and permanent positions.

Job requirements

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience as a Steel Stud Framer – Carpentry is required.

Job details:

Salary: $30.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Location: Various locations in BC
Vacancies: Two (2)

Skills

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Instruct apprentices
• Supervise other workers
