Angel Food Services Ltd and AF Support Services are two management companies established by Mr. Nader Tabesh, a Red seal and Executive Chef since August 2014. Both companies provide quality food and support services to healthcare facilities in BC. Currently the companies operate in 4 residential care facilities in Burnaby and Coquitlam (Foyer Maillard Care Home, Normanna Care Home, Dania Care Home and Dania Manor). The companies serve almost 400 residents daily through its combination of clinical nutrition, food services, housekeeping and laundry services.

The Company is in need of Dietary Aide – 3 positions to add to their diverse, reliable and energetic staff.

Specific skills:
Assist in preparation and assembly of meals by performing duties such as washing, peeling and cutting produces; Portions meals, desserts, beverages and prepare cold and hot beverages; Performs all duties in relation to the serving and distribution of food; Ensures that food is served in accordance with the dietary requirements of the residents; Strips, racks and washes items such as dishes, pots, pans and utensils; Operates dishwashing machines; Stacks clean dishes and utensils; helps clear dining tables; Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping mopping floors, cleaning counter tops, sinks, machines and equipment and spot washing walls and splash areas; cleans coolers, fridges and freezer; Replenishes cleaning products, paper and condiment supplies; Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we offer:
Hourly rate is $15.00. CPP, EI employer paid. Extended Health Benefit under Sun Life will be available to the employee after 6 months probationary period.
The extended medical benefit is the Sun Life Basic Benefit, which includes Dental (worth $1,000), Medical ($1,500) and Chiropractor ($500).

Job Location is at Foyer Maillard Care Home, 1010 Alderson Ave Coquitlam BC.

Qualification is at least 1 year related working experience OR secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
