General Labourer
(NOC 95109 – Other labourers in processing, manufacturing and utilities)

JOB DETAILS
Salary: $18.75 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Weekend, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience an asset

Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Check and weigh materials and products
• Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities
• Clean machines, equipment and immediate work areas.
• Transport raw and shop materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
• Organize shop.
• Assist other workers.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Work under pressure

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
