Brahmbhatt Family located in North East part of Calgary are looking for a Caregiver to help in taking care of our elderly mother at our home/residence who has medical needs. It is a full-time permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week. Pay per hour will be $21.00 per hour. Candidate is required to have at least high school education. There is no requirement of previous experience, but similar experience is an asset.
Below are the major duties that we expect the candidate to perform but are not limited to :
• Administer bedside and personal care
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus
• Provide personal care
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals (special diets)
• Help in daily activities according to the schedule like providing meals, administer medicines at proper times.
• Take the individual to and from the appointments.
