Wage: $25.00/hour; 35 hours /week plus mileage

Aquamist Carpet Care is seeking hard-working and reliable carpet cleaners who will attend to our customers’ carpet cleaning needs with punctual service and excellent customer care.
Job Description:
• Operate cleaning machines to clean carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture on customers’ premises
• Use a set of cleaning chemicals, equipment, techniques, and tools on carpets and floors
• Apply stain removers and pre-cleaning treatments to hard- to-clean spots
• Move furniture out of the way and reset the room once complete
• Thoroughly clean smoke residue from carpets and related contents
• Provide post construction cleaning to prepare a house for occupancy
• Follow established procedures for cleaning carpets/contents and handling customer’s possessions
• Keep job site clean and professional
• Complete daily paperwork/timecards accurately and in a timely fashion
Other Skills Required:
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism with customers
• Able to take direction and follow pre-established guidelines
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Able to deal with clients under difficult circumstances
• Able to work in constantly changing environments
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning experience considered an asset, but will train the right candidate
• Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration training is considered an asset
• Clean criminal record check
• Basic writing and math skills
• Bending crouching and kneeling required
