Job Description
We are hiring a full-time, permanent live-out child caregiver to support a busy professional family in Vancouver, BC. The successful applicant will provide care to two children aged 3 and 7 in the employer’s private home. This is a non-live-in position. The caregiver will not be required to live in the home.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and young children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
Organize age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and outings
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the home
Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to children’s needs
Escort children to and from school and appointments as needed
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and routines

Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of child care or related experience
CPR and First Aid certification
Criminal record check required
