JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Southside Pizza Inc. (Little Caesars Pizza). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in the food service industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise food services associates, including scheduling and assigning work, participating in performance assessment
• Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service
• Hiring, supervision and shift scheduling of all other staff
• Organize stock and equipment, ordering supplies and ingredients to promote efficiency of operation
• Keep records, such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees
• Evaluate the performance of the service workers and assist with the manager to regulate their payroll
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Make sure appropriate cleaning and maintenance of food preparation areas and equipment
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Hours: Full-time position (30-40 hours per week)
• Wage: $15.80 per hour, less all required deductions, remittances and withholdings
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for work after 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week (pre-approval required)
• Vacation: Two (2) weeks’ vacation time per anniversary year, prorated for partial year employment, or vacation pay equal to 4% of annual wages
