Job Description

Kelowna Cedar Fencing is looking for two (2) Full-Time Construction Helpers (NOC 75110)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $26.00/hour.
Job Description:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle fencing required at construction sites
• Assist tradespersons in construction activities
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Perform other activities at construction sites as directed
• Maintain professional demeanor while working
Job Requirements:
• On the job training is provided
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Some experience of related construction experience is an asset
• Basic work skills
• Language in the workplace is English
