Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $34.07 hourly for 30 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience in a restaurant is required;
– Knowledge of Japanese BBQ is an asset.

Job duties:
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff and servers;
– Train kitchen staff and servers in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
– Ensure food service and quality control is always properly implemented according to the service and quality standards of Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ;
– Establish work schedules, and methods and plans to meet the schedules for kitchen staff and servers;
– Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation;
– Ensure food orders are properly handled by servers and kitchen staff;
– Address customers’ complaints or concerns;
– Prepare and submit sales reports to management on a regular basis;
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
– Prepare budget and cost estimates;
– Hire food service staff;
– Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure a healthy level of stock is always maintained.
