Bliss Bakery is looking for two Full-Time Café Supervisors (NOC 62020)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $19.00 to $19.65/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who serve coffee, drinks, food, and barista services at coffee shop/artisan bakery
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for coffee shop operation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Input data into software management system
• Utilize reports and feedback to grow sales of coffee shop
• Collaborate with customers to identify store opportunities
• Ensure that beverage and food service meet quality control standards
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food service. Experience in a coffee shop/artisan bakery is an asset
• Must have team leadership skills
• Previous experience running a coffee shop and knowledge in latte art is an asset
• Knowledge in coffee is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
