Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacy technician to be a part of our team. The pharmacy technician will support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy and will perform technical functions relating to prescriptions including gathering patients’ information, product preparation, product distribution and inventory control. They work closely with pharmacists to provide pharmaceutical care to clients.

Job Duties
1. Assist pharmacists to maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
2. Assess prescriptions for completeness and ensure information is accurate
3. Gather and enter client information in databases and prepare medications
4. Process payment of prescriptions and other pharmacy services including direct billing to third party insurers
5. Provide instructions on how to use health aids, and medical devices such as drug administration devices and monitoring

Terms of employment
1. Work hours – 30 hours per week
2. Permanent, full-time position

Salary:
1. $25 per hour
