Wage offer: $19.23 /Hour for 40 hours/week
Benefits: Dental and extended medical after 6 months, RRSP matching after 1 year

Experience: Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a barber/hairstylist
Alberta hairstylist barber licence, or ability to obtain one
Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, effective interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability
Job Duties:
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
• Shave and trim beards and moustaches
• May shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Book appointments and order supplies
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Risks of slip and fall injuries, use of electrical tools, use of sharp objects, use of chemical products.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, odours
Work Setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
