Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, this full-time position will serve as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. The candidate will also assist with the entire hiring process, from screening resumes to conducting interviews and extending job offers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation/evaluation of HR strategies including policies, programs and procedures to address an organization’s human resources requirements
Advise employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance.
Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, salary scales and competency appraisal measures and systems
Plan and administer staffing, total compensation, training and career development, employee assistance, employment equity and affirmative action programs
Manage programs and maintain human resources information and related records systems
Coordinate employee performance appraisal programs
Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources.
Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records.
Work closely with hiring managers to identify the specific needs and requirements for open positions
Create and post job descriptions on various platforms, including job boards and company websites
Review applications and resumes to shortlist candidates who meet the qualifications
Arrange and conduct interviews to assess candidate skills and experience
Conduct reference checks for shortlisted candidates
Extend job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to help them acclimate to the company culture and policies

Qualified candidates must possess:
A degree in Business Administration, with a major in HR
Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment in a manufacturing company with more than 1000 employees (sourcing candidates, screening, scheduling, conducting interviews, checking references, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills with external customers as well as various levels of management
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adhere to tight deadlines
Flexibility in adapting to a fast-paced environment
