NPN construction company based in Halifax, NS. We service all construction needs – as simple as small kitchen remodeling or painting a room to a complete renovation project. As local remodeling constructors, we accommodate any size job, from small private apartments to new development projects and commercial spaces. We work with many contractors, interior designers, architects and homeowners to fulfill their construction needs. We are now looking for a cabinet maker to join our team.

Job duties:
1.Read and interpret drawings and specifications and prepare cut lists.
2.Build, manage and assemble custom millwork, furniture, kitchens and vanities.
3.Plan and manage production tasks to make efficient use of time and equipment.
4.Set up and operate production equipment to produce components according to drawings.
5.Work with different materials including engineered wood products, veneers and fine hardwoods.
6.Verify compliance of produced components with design documents.
7.Assemble components into completed units using fasteners, adhesives, and joinery techniques.
8.Prepare surfaces for finishing department.
9.Work with other employees and participate in training apprentices.

Required languages: English

Education level: High school

Required skills: 1 to 7 months related work experience
