Salary: $28.39/hr 40hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Terms of employment: Permanent/Full-time

Tasks:
Assist in performing routine maintenance work and repair to ship’s engine, machinery and auxiliary equipment
Clean engine parts and keep engine room clean
Clean, chip and paint deck surfaces
Monitor engine, machinery and equipment indicators
Operate and maintain off-loading liquid pumps and valves
Operate, maintain and repair deck equipment
Stand watch and steer ship or self-propelled vessel under the direction of an officer

Physically demanding
Hand-eye co-ordination

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Languages: English
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
