Laing Roofing Kelowna is looking for 12 Full-Time Sheet Metal Roofers (NOC 72102)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $35.00-40.00/hour, with benefits after 3 months of working.

Job Description

Tasks:

Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
Instruct apprentices
Cut materials using power tools or by hand
Fit and join sheet metal parts
Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Install sheet metal flashings
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
Job Requirements:

– Minimum 2 years of sheet metal roofing experience

– Minimum completion of high school or equivalent

– Language in the workplace is English

– Credentials: Fall Protection Training and WHMIS Certificate
